IEC received the certificate of the organization's carbon footprint certification and announced the goal of Carbon Neutrality by 2029 with a greenhouse gas management strategy that focuses on improving and developing the efficiency of the production process, promoting the use of clean energy, and reducing waste throughout the factory through efficient resource management to respond to the sustainable development goals according to the United Nations' UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), calculated from the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from various activities, both direct and indirect, of the organization. In 2023, there were 4,689 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent greenhouse gas emissions (production data in 2023 is the base year).
In addition, Inter Group Packaging Group is committed to conducting environmentally friendly business with awareness of climate change in order to play a part in helping to sustainably reduce the impact of the increase in global temperatures.
